Laurie delivers each design from her heart creatively, meticulously, and intuitively. She is passionate about each project and genuinely loves her work. For Laurie, spaces should be beautiful, comfortable, and always functional. Prior to developing a concept, she spends much of her time listening very carefully to her client’s wish list and has each client complete a questionnaire. She documents all the information in a designated residence journal. Her clients and the tradespeople she works with have often coined her “Translator” of the home and homeowner’s best self. She takes pride in analyzing all of the “data” gathered, brainstorming a solution, and presenting a very personalized concept. Laurie does all drawings.

Laurie is a problem solver, and enjoys collaborating together with the team assembled for each project to keep the design integrity intact throughout the process. This is most evident when designing kitchens, as she sketches every customized detail of the handmade cabinetry, special finishes, and features to suit the homeowner’s personality and lifestyle. With that said, projects naturally evolve into welcoming homes. Laurie will recommend investing in quality furnishings, which will have longevity. She enjoys adding warmth and history  to a home through architectural detailing and by refreshing a homeowners treasures or heirlooms in a fresh way.
